My client are a leading facilities management company covering the whole of the UK, who are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their Team. As part of a small but strong accounting team you will be responsible for the following:
Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate purchase orders as necessary.
  • Quickly and accurately match purchase invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes. Process goods received and purchase invoices into the ledger per internal procedures, resolving supplier and site queries promptly.
  • Booking accommodation for site personnel as directed.
  • Manage general filing responsibilities.
  • Undertake various additional tasks as required.

Ideally you will have experience within the construction sector although this is not a deal breaker, and will bring the following skills and experience:
What We're Looking For:

  • Experience of using systems such as Xero
  • Exceptional accuracy and precision.
  • Strong ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Methodical, diligent, and proactive in task management.
  • Understanding of general accounts processes
  • Prior experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with the construction sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Salary & Benefits:

  • 26,000 - 28,000 (DOE)
  • Hybrid working - 2 days WFH
  • 30 days annual leave
  • Fixed shifts either 8am-4pm or 9am -5pm
