Are you an experienced Bookkeeper ready to step into a pivotal role within a fast-paced team? Our client, based in the East End of Glasgow, is seeking a confident and assertive individual to join their dynamic team. This opportunity has arisen due to a long-serving team member retiring, paving the way for fresh ideas and process improvement.

What You'll Do:
You'll play a key role in managing the company's financial processes and ensuring compliance with regulations. Working closely with the Financial Controller and Operations Director, you'll oversee two team members and drive accuracy, efficiency, and financial insight.

Key responsibilities include:
* Record daily transactions, reconcile accounts, and manage customer/supplier relationships.
* Process payroll, calculate deductions, and ensure tax compliance.
* Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making.
* Maintain accurate records, resolve discrepancies, and support audits.
* Use SAGE and Excel to streamline processes and generate insights.

What We're Looking For:
* Minimum 5 years in a similar role.
* Proficiency in SAGE and Microsoft Excel.
* Confident, organised, and ready to drive change.
