Excellent new opportunity, with a long established, forward thinking CA firm, for a suitably qualified CA/ACCA or Qualified by Experience individual to join their friendly team as an Accounts Manager.Reporting directly to the Partners, and as a key member of the senior team, you will demonstrate strong client and interpersonal skills with a flexible 'can do' based approach and broad general practice background gained from another UK Accountancy Firm with good IT accounts skills.
This non audit role offers good role variety with good client liaison.
Main duties:
Producing accounts for variety of clients (Limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, LLLPs and groups)
Managing juniors and trainees, reviewing work and highlighting areas for improvement/development
First point of contact for the client ensuring first class client service provided at all times
Ensuring that jobs are completed on time and within budget.
Working with various different accounting software i.e. Xero, Sage, IRIS, Freeagent
Liaise with Tax Department and deal with any queries raised.
To be aware of developments concerning client affairs and to identify opportunities to provide additional services to clients. Cross sell other services to clients to contribute to incremental fee income for the Firm.
