Class 1 Driver

KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Class 1 Driver for our client based in Lanarkshire. The job as a Class 1 Driver is trunking down south for a double manned run.

As a Class 1 Driver your working days and hours are:

• Monday- Friday
• 18:00 start- finish

The rate of pay as a Class 1 Driver is:

• £ p/h

The duties and responsibilities as a Class 1 Driver are:

• Transport full loads to various locations within the central belt
• Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in good condition
• Perform pre and post- shift vehicle inspections
• Report any non-conformities or near misses to the line manager
• Secure freight properly for transit
• Adhere to all driver regulations and safety protocols

The ideal candidate for a Class 1 Driver would need:

• Proven experience driving a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV)
• Ability to meet delivery timelines efficiently
• Respect and pride for maintaining the vehicle and equipment
• Excellent customer service
• Digital Tacho Card
• Valid Driving Licence
• Driver CPC Certification
• Strong knowledge of driver regulations
• Minimum 6 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
• No IN, DD, DR endorsements on licence
