We are on the lookout for a new head chef to join our team at Yiamas Greek Taverna, based in Glasgow city centre.

This position would suit an experienced head chef who is used to working in a fast paced environment with good knowledge on fresh food operations. Organisation and communication skills are key as well as a good attitude and enthusiasm for providing high quality dishes to our customers.

Our menu is focused on the classic Greek street food - gyros! Other offerings include souvlaki, our house made dips and small plates and a good veggie and vegan selection.

Experience with Greek food is not necessary as you will have the training provided to produce all these dishes.

You will be responsible for running the daily food operation, leading a small team whilst developing and mentoring junior chefs, completing rotas and adhering to HACCP documentation and processes.
