We are excited to announce the opening of our new quality establishment in the heart of Glasgow, focusing on freshly prepared, traditional Scottish cuisine crafted from the finest local ingredients. We are seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and uphold our commitment to excellence.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
- Develop and design menu items that reflect our traditional Scottish theme, utilising locally sourced ingredients.
- Manage and train kitchen staff to maintain high culinary standards.
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed, managing kitchen budgets effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within the culinary industry.
- Strong knowledge of traditional Scottish cuisine and a passion for using local ingredients.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to creating high-quality dishes that align with our brand and values.
