Continuously expanding, they currently provide care to over half a million patients.Your New RoleThe role entails overseeing the group's IT and communications infrastructure, including managing relationships with key partners. Responsibilities include setting up user support processes with third-party partners for hardware, software, and system issues. Ensuring the proper operation, updates, and backups of both internal and cloud-based systems, as well as managing user access and security, is vital. The role also involves supervising the installation and configuration of IT environments and coordinating with third-party suppliers to ensure cost-effective services. Staying abreast of technological advancements and recommending improvements to internal systems is essential. Additionally, the role includes managing IT projects, ensuring compliance with IT security policies, maintaining comprehensive documentation and reporting, responding to audit queries, and managing the IT budget.What You'll Need To SucceedRequired:

  • Hands-on experience in IT user support.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Office applications, including Office 365.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Entra (Azure) and Purview for security and compliance within the MS365 environment.
  • Experience in installing, supporting, and administering Windows Server operating systems.
  • Desirable:Familiarity with Microsoft Power Apps, including Power BI and MS Forms.
  • Experience in creating and managing file sharing and data management sites using SharePoint.
  • Over 2 years of experience managing an IT function, preferably in a multi-site SME.
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment and interacting with the NHS.
