We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our client's Sales team within the IT managed service industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities (primarily SMEs), fostering and maintaining positive relationships with potential clients, sourcing and converting pipeline with strong support from marketing.

Description

  • Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities, with enquiry generation support from marketing.
  • Building business relationships with potential clients.
  • Collaborating with sales and leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts.
  • Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients.
  • Coordinating business generation activities.
  • Answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions.
  • Maintaining a pipeline of sales opportunities.
  • Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting.

Profile

A successful Business Development Manager should have:

  • Proven sales track record in the Technology & Telecoms, IT managed service, or managed print industry.
  • Ability to build rapport and form long-lasting business relationships.
  • Experience in client relationship management.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with a follow-through on client contracts.
  • Ambitious and driven nature.

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary package of up to £50,000 per annum, a car package, and potential for 100% OTE. This client pays commission on full contract term profitability, opposed to the industry standard of 1st year only. High performers are taking home around £150,000 per annum.
