Titan are currently working with a Freight Forwarder based in Glasgow who are looking for a Sales Executive to join their team
To further fuel their growth, our client is looking for a Sales Executive to assist in the development and acquisition of new business from both existing and new clients.
They are looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience in International Freight Sales along with excellent people skills.
Role responsibilities
- Create and drive a sales plan strategy that successfully meets monthly sales goals and initiatives
- Utilise internal tools to negotiate market freight rates for customers
- Manage an assigned territory and demonstrate extensive knowledge of potential customers and competitors in this area
- Orchestrate, build and maintain customer / branch relationships
- Support the transition of new accounts through customer introductions
Requirements
- Strong problem solving, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Sense of urgency for goal achievement
- Self-motivated with ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
- Strong rapport and relationship-building focused
- Empowered to make quick decisions in response to changing conditions
- Timeliness and accountability for results
Previous experience within a similar environment is preferred
The company offers a great working environment, offering a salary up to £50,000 plus commission
