Field-Based Glasgow & Surrounding Areas (Full UK driving lisence essential)

We’re partnering with a leading supplier of high-quality fine chemicals serving key industries such as oil & gas, transport, marine, and hygiene. They’re looking for a dynamic Sales Executive to help drive growth in Glasgow and the surrounding areas.

If you’re a motivated salesperson with a proven track record, this is your chance to represent a reputable company with a diverse portfolio of products that customers rely on daily.

What’s Involved:
  • Territory Development: You’ll be responsible for expanding the customer base within your region. This includes driving sales with existing clients and prospecting new business opportunities. Your primary focus will be on onshore customers.
  • Daily Meetings & Face-to-Face Sales: You’ll spend your days meeting with customers in person, building strong relationships, and tailoring chemical solutions to meet their needs. Expect a mix of brief visits and longer, more detailed discussions.
  • Product Knowledge: Our client offers a range of over 300 fine chemicals with applications in areas such as anti-corrosion, cleaning, de-icing, and more. While you don’t need to be a chemical expert, a keen interest in the products and how they solve customer problems is essential.
  • Target Driven: You’ll have clear monthly sales targets and work closely with your manager to achieve and exceed them. You'll be the face of the company, representing their brand with energy and enthusiasm.
  • New Business: Beyond managing current accounts, you’ll actively seek new business, knocking on doors and identifying new opportunities to expand your territory.
  • Reporting & Administration: You’ll stay organized and maintain detailed records of all activities, ensuring that your sales pipeline is always up-to-date.
We’re Looking For:
  • Sales Experience: You must have a strong sales background with evidence of success in meeting or exceeding targets. This role is about results, so if you’ve got the drive and determination to succeed, we want to hear from you.
  • Strong Communication Skills: You’ll need to be personable, approachable, and skilled at building relationships. Your ability to listen to customers and find tailored solutions will set you apart.
  • Self-Motivated & Goal-Oriented: This is a field-based role, so you must be able to manage your time effectively, stay focused, and work independently while meeting your targets.
  • No Chemistry Degree Required: While the products are chemical-based, we’re not looking for someone with a scientific background. What matters most is your ability to sell, connect with clients, and close deals.
