Personnel Selection are currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a background in pumps/valves/hydraulics/pneumatics etc, to run the Glasgow based depot on a full time and permanent basis.
The role offers excellent training & development opportunities, uncapped commission, company vehicle and a hybrid working arrangement.
You will be tasked with the following:
- Developing business opportunities by generating sales leads/contacts
- Arranging and attending customer meetings, creating technical proposals, presenting proposals to customers, and then converting proposals into purchase orders.
- Project management of the depot refurbishment
- Attending exhibitions to expand your network
- A technical engineering background is essential, and a knowledge/understanding of high-pressure pumps would be an advantage.
The Glasgow Depot comes under the Sales Manager responsibility, looking after the Depot and one service engineer.
