We are looking for an experienced Freelance Site Engineer for a 12-week contract based in Glasgow. Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with strong technical engineering experience, particularly with cut and fill, profiles, and drainage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the delivery of site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Preparing and interpreting engineering drawings, plans, and profiles for works
- Ensure works meet design specifications
- Setting out and surveying profiles on site ensuring accuracy
- Coordinating drainage installation
- Liaise with external partners and project managers to ensure smooth delivery
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Site Engineer experience, must have knowledge of cut and fill, profiles, and drainage systems
- Strong technical knowledge in site surveying and setting out
- Ability to interpret construction drawings accurately
- Good communication skills
