Job Title: Senior/Principal Civil Engineer
Salary: 40,000 - 70,000 (dependent on experience)
Location: Glasgow or London (Sheffield or Exeter considered for the right candidate)
Type: Permanent, hybrid (remote options available for Principal+ level)

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal Civil Engineer to lead major water infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of water and wastewater engineering, mentor junior engineers, and drive innovation in the sector.

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of water infrastructure projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, CDM regulations, and best practices.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage project resources, budgets, and timelines.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Promote innovation and the adoption of new technologies in water engineering.
• Maintain a strong focus on health, safety, and sustainability.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Extensive experience in civil engineering design and project management within the water or wastewater sector.
• Strong understanding of water infrastructure, hydraulic systems, and treatment works.
• Leadership experience managing teams and complex projects.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software.
• Chartered status or working towards chartership (ICE, CIWEM, or similar).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Passion for innovation and continuous professional development.
