Maintenance Supervisor

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Supervisor to join a leading business within the Energy and Waste Management industry, with a long-term goal of establishing sustainability and efficiency. As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of technicians and executing the planned and reactive maintenance across the site to ensure maximum plant efficiency.
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and executing the planned preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns / reactive maintenance
- Overseeing a team of mechanical and electrical technicians as well as third-party contractors
- Working closely with the rest of the engineering team to ensure plant repairs are handled efficiently
- Managing the training and development of the team
- Ensuring full compliance of Health, Safety and Environmental Legislation
- Overseeing a team of fuel and recycling operatives
- Working closely with the engineering team to ensure plant repairs are handled efficiently
- Ensuring full compliance of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:
- Hands on engineering experience, ideally in a process environment
- Supervisory experience or natural leadership skills
- Working knowledge of the energy/waste industry is advantageous
- The ability to work flexibly to ensure the plant is fully staffed at all times
- Excellent communication skills
- A full UK driving licence is essential for this role
