Business Development Executive - Social Care Services

Location: Glasgow and Greater Glasgow (Field & Office based)

Salary: £32,500 pa, Car allowance scheme, Uncapped commission structure, Mileage expenses

The company: My client specialises in the recruitment of experienced care staff, allowing them to provide assistance and support to private and local authority care providers. Formed many years ago they have been successfully providing high quality, trained care staff across central Scotland, priding themselves in looking after their clients and colleagues to the highest standard.

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social care services (although not essential) and a proven track record in business development. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and driving client growth in the social care arena.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be field, and office based.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the social care sector, both Private and Public sector.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the social care industry.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor and report on business development activities and results.

Qualifications:

  • Full drivers licence and full use of a car
  • Ideally degree qualified (although not essential) - Experience is more important.
  • Proven experience in business development, preferably in the social care sector.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
