The business is looking for an experienced Senior Communications Manager to lead our communications strategy during a pivotal digital transformation project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ERP systems communications and a proven track record of management within the higher education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to support the digital transformation project.
  • Manage internal and external communications, ensuring clear and consistent messaging.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align communication efforts with organisational goals.
  • Oversee the creation of engaging content for various platforms, including social media, newsletters, and press releases.
  • Monitor and analyse communication metrics to measure effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
  • Lead and mentor a team of communications professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

Qualifications:

  • A demonstrated background in or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in communications, with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • Proven experience in delivering communications around ERP systems and digital transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of the higher education sector and its unique communication needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
