The business is looking for an experienced Senior Communications Manager to lead our communications strategy during a pivotal digital transformation project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ERP systems communications and a proven track record of management within the higher education sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to support the digital transformation project.
- Manage internal and external communications, ensuring clear and consistent messaging.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align communication efforts with organisational goals.
- Oversee the creation of engaging content for various platforms, including social media, newsletters, and press releases.
- Monitor and analyse communication metrics to measure effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
- Lead and mentor a team of communications professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
Qualifications:
- A demonstrated background in or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in communications, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Proven experience in delivering communications around ERP systems and digital transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of the higher education sector and its unique communication needs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
