MAA Recruitment are looking for a CNC Turner/Machinist in and around the Cumbernauld area to join an exiting company and the ability to invest. This is a permanent role to add to their team machining valves and gauge components.
Role:
Setting and operating CNC Horizontal lathes (Mazak Quick Turn 2000MB and Mazak Super Quick Turn 10M
Working various CNC machines
Machining valve and gauge components.
Controlling and editing Mazatrol programs
Training will be given on the Mazatrol SmoothG programming
Working with stainless steel and exotic materials such as Hastelloy C276, Duplex and Incoloy
Skills:
Time Served CNC Turner/Machinist with City & Guilds/Modern Apprenticeship Level 3
Mazatrol Editing and setting experience
Able to read and understand engineering drawings
Hours:
36 basic hours per week
Rotating Shift Pattern: - 2 weeks early and 2 weeks backshift
Early Shift - Mon-Thurs 6am-2.15pm, Fri 6am-11.10am
Back Shift - Mon-Thurs 2.15pm-11.45pm (FRIDAY OFF)
Money:
From £16.50-£16.70/hr for basic hours
with 20% shift allowance £19.80/Hr -£20.04/hr
Shift allowance is paid on both shifts
Overtime is time plus half during week and Saturdays
Overtime is double time for Sundays
