  • Our client, located in the North East of Glasgow, is seeking experienced Team Leaders for their expanding Production Facility.
  • The role requires proven experience leading a team within a manufacturing or production environment, with a focus on Health & Safety.
  • Team Leaders will work a 4 day on, 4 day off dayshift pattern, consisting of 12-hour shifts.

Our Client based to the North East of Glasgow are currently looking for experienced Team Leaders to join their Production Facility.
They have recently experienced a period of growth and are investing significantly in their capacity and new product lines. This has lead to an increase in their core numbers, meaning they now require a Team Leader to oversee each shift. The Team Leader will follow a 4 day on, 4 day off dayshift pattern, working 12 hour shifts.

Accountabilities include:

- Being a role model, while overseeing a team of Production Operatives
- Ensuring production plans and targets are carried out safely and efficiently
- Ensuring the work is carried out to plan, while adhering to Health & Safety
- Monitoring compliance, providing guidance and driving continuous improvement.
- Supporting team members, while encouraging, training and developing individuals.
- Managing workflows to achieve the best from their team, while collaborating with other leaders and teams across the organisation.
- Manage the performance and development of your team in line with KPI's.
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, performance reviews and PDP's in line with objectives.
- Coach, train and mentor team members to develop their skills and progress in their roles .
- Manage employee attendance, return to work meetings and disciplinary issues.
About you:

- Proven experience leading a team within a manufacturing/production organisation.
- Strong and principled in Health & Safety.
- Ability to inspire a team with exceptional leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to motivate under pressure and set high standards.
- Able to empower your team to reach their potential, through coaching and positive feedback.
