- Must have experience of working within a similar Project Management position, across central government projects; social justice; criminal justice, or mobilisations.
- Ideally hold a recognised Project Management qualification, e.g. PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent.
- Must possess excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- A solid understanding of the Scottish Criminal Justice system would be highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel acrossÂ
- The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing our clients' Learning and Development contract across public sector prisons within Scotland.Â
- Work closely with a team of internal and external workstream leads, to include: HR, IT, Operations, Commercial, Quality, Marketing and Training, to successfully implement a mobilisation and transition plan.
- Liaise closely with the Scottish Prison Service and other relevant stakeholders.Â
- Lead on regular project and individual workstream meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and manage issues within mobilisation and transition, risks, constraints and dependencies.
- Conduct regular programme reporting on progress against key milestones, risks and issues to senior internal and external stakeholders through formal governance structures.
- Ensure adherence to contractual, commercial and operational obligations/requirements through maintaining close working partnerships with the relevant departments.
