Location: Glasgow (South Side)

Our client is ideally looking for someone with proven experience in Credit Control, good communication skills, who is looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to thrive within a high-profile role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chasing payments professionally and timely
  • Oversee a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring that payments are received in accordance with agreed terms and conditions
  • Chase overdue payments by phone, email, and letter while maintaining a professional relationship with customers
  • Ensure the timely collection of debts and assist in maintaining the company's cash flow
  • Resolve any disputes or issues related to payment and work closely with the sales and customer service teams to address concerns
  • Assess credit risk and monitor customer credit limits to ensure they align with company policy and industry standards
  • Reconcile customer accounts, manage payment plans, and keep accurate records of all communications
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues effectively
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payment processing
  • Provide cover and support to colleagues

Experience:

  • Proven Credit Control experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Strong organisational skills
