We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our finance team on an interim basis for a 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to contribute to the smooth operation of the credit control function within a well-established organisation based in the East End of Glasgow.
Key Responsibilities:-
Managing outstanding debt and ensuring timely collection of payments.

Reconciling customer accounts and resolving payment discrepancies.

Issuing statements of account and liaising with customers regarding overdue balances.

Investigating and resolving invoice queries in collaboration with internal teams.

Maintaining accurate records of all credit control activities.

Assisting with ad-hoc financial tasks as required.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a credit control role.

Strong communication and negotiation skills to maintain positive customer relationships.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial transactions.

Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using accounting software (e.g. Sage, SAP, or similar).
