We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our finance team on an interim basis for a 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to contribute to the smooth operation of the credit control function within a well-established organisation based in the East End of Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing outstanding debt and ensuring timely collection of payments.

  • Reconciling customer accounts and resolving payment discrepancies.

  • Issuing statements of account and liaising with customers regarding overdue balances.

  • Investigating and resolving invoice queries in collaboration with internal teams.

  • Maintaining accurate records of all credit control activities.

  • Assisting with ad-hoc financial tasks as required.

Key Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a credit control role.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to maintain positive customer relationships.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial transactions.

  • Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using accounting software (e.g. Sage, SAP, or similar).
