The role of Credit Controller will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
- Manage all cash collection activities through telephone, email, and written correspondence.
- Pursue outstanding payments proactively and professionally
- Prioritise outreach to maximise recovery of the largest and oldest debts.
- Keep an updated record of next-step actions and follow-up tasks
- Collaborate with clients to resolve disputes and establish suitable payment plans.
- Foster strong relationships with internal departments to ensure timely resolution of queries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contact information and communication records
You
As a Credit Controller you will be skilled and/or qualified in the following:
- Commercially minded with an enthusiastic and professional approach to cash collection
- Proven experience in a credit control role, ideally within the professional services sector
- Ability to effectively manage a large and diverse debtor ledger
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to self-manage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in the use of IT systems, including Excel
- Knowledge of the legal system is advantageous
