Deputy Care Home Manager

A dedicated Deputy Care Home Manager is sought to assist in the daily operations of a care home. With a strong clinical background and proven leadership skills, the successful candidate will help maintain the highest standards of care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents.

Salary: £43,000 (£19.50/hour)

Location: Cambuslang

Hours: 33.5 hours per week clinical, 7.5 hours per week supernumerary

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in managing overall care home operations
* Provide leadership and support to the care team
* Foster strong relationships with residents and families
* Ensure staff training and development
* Develop and monitor personalised care plans
* Manage staff scheduling
* Collaborate with external healthcare professionals
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with care standards
* Support financial management of the care home
* Uphold a safe and hygienic environment
* Address concerns in a professional and compassionate manner

Qualifications:
* Senior management experience in a care home
* SVQ Level 4 in Leadership and Management
* Registered Nurse with an active NMC nursing pin
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Thorough understanding of care home regulations
* PVG certification and references required
