Operating in a fast-paced production environment, the company is committed to maintaining the highest standards in food processing.The RoleWe are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Biased Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability and functionality of our food processing equipment. Your expertise will be key in minimising downtime, improving efficiency, and maintaining safety standards in a demanding production facility.Key Responsibilities? Electrical Maintenance:* Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment.* Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults to reduce downtime.* Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns, implementing solutions to prevent production disruptions.* Develop and implement contingency plans for critical electrical failures.? Documentation & Reporting:* Maintain accurate records of all electrical maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications.? Safety & Compliance:* Adhere to and promote strict health & safety procedures within the facility.* Ensure all work aligns with industry safety standards and regulations.What We're Looking For? Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a food or fast-paced production environment.? Time-served apprenticeship - NVQ/NVQ/C&G Level 3 in Engineering.? Strong knowledge of 3-phase motors, drives, inverters, sensors, pumps, valves, conveyors, and packaging machinery.? Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.?
