This role involves working on major 400kV, 275kV, and 132kV Transmission projects as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team. The successful candidate will take on a lead project engineering role, overseeing engineering governance and coordinating all engineering disciplines. They will act as the point of contact for overhead line engineering. Additionally, they will support the project team in managing engineering risks and leveraging opportunities for project excellence. This position offers the chance to provide technical support and expertise throughout the project lifecycle.

Key duties & responsibilities:

路 To act as discipline overhead line engineer for major 400kV, 275kV and 132kV Transmission projects, working as part of a multidiscipline project engineering team.

路 To take on a Lead Project Engineering Role on projects, leading on engineering governance and the coordination of all Engineering Disciplines.

路 Act as the point of contact for overhead line engineering and represent engineering at key strategic, commercial, programme and site project meetings.

路 Support and assist others in the project team around managing engineering risks and utilising opportunities for the project to excel.

路 Engineers provide technical support and expertise throughout the life of projects and are supported by a senior Overhead Line Engineer on technical aspects and report into an Engineering Manager.

Essential Qualifications:

路HND level in Electrical Engineering.

路Chartered Engineers or working towards this.

路Candidates with Transmission infrastructure specific experience.

路Candidates must be degree qualified at minimum in engineering discipline.

路Proven experience with plan/profile designs
