Are you an experienced Electrical Technician with a passion for innovation and excellence? We are looking for a talented individual to join a dynamic automotive engineering team based in Glasgow. In this role, you will play a crucial part in new product development and current model production projects working on special purpose vehicles.

Electrical Technician - Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical products and systems.
- Amend designs, technical specifications, Bills of Materials (BOM), and documentation through the Engineering Change Note (ECN) process.
- Oversee maintenance, inspection, and system upgrade programs.
- Solve technical design problems during the construction of electrical systems.
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) for electrical and electronic manufacture and construction.
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repairs on electrical systems.
- Analyse and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documents.
- Represent the engineering team professionally and positively to internal and external customers/suppliers travelling to sites when required.
Electrical Technician - Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficient in using Electrical Schematic Software, preferably Zuken.
- HND in electrical engineering or related subject or equivalent experience.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documents.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and application thereof in electrical fault finding.
- Skilled in using testing and diagnostic tools.
- Skilled in using repair tools.
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repairs on electrical systems both in factory and in the field.
- Flexibility to travel when required.
