Your new company

Hays are once again delighted to be working in partnership with a leading financial services organisation that has offices in both Glasgow and Edinburgh. The business is not looking to recruit an Organisational Effectiveness Partner (OD) within the Culture & DEI area. This is a newly created position due to expansion of the team.

Your new role

As one of the Organisational Effectiveness Partners, you'll use internal and external data and insight to identify business needs or opportunities before designing and implementing products relating to culture and behaviour, leadership, performance, talent or diversity, equity and inclusion. Working with a range of stakeholders internally and, at times, externally, you'll ensure our products are simple and accessible, meet FCA expectations, and meet the needs of our diverse colleague population.

You will be able to cover the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Influence and evolve our culture through work that impacts on values, behaviours, and other cultural enablers.
  • Use insight to design and embed products that are outcome focused, meet an identified business need and help to develop and retain colleagues and leaders.
  • Work on a variety of activities relating to all components of Organisational Effectiveness; culture and behaviours, leadership, performance, talent or diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Facilitate workshops such as talent reviews, performance calibration or team effectiveness sessions.
  • Keep up to date with internal insight, through engagement surveys and other sources, FCA expectations and external trends to inform your recommendations.
  • Work with stakeholders at various levels of the organisation.
  • Simplify and automate our frameworks, processes and tools to make it simple for colleagues to access

What you'll need to succeed

  • A proven track record in designing and delivering blended Organisational Effectiveness frameworks and tools aimed at developing colleagues and leaders and effecting meaningful organisational change. The ability to assimilate data and insight from various sources to make robust recommendations and tell a compelling story.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and an ability to both get to the heart of a problem and challenge constructively.
  • A strategic and commercial mindset and focus on adding value for customers.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills and experience.
