Our client is a busy private developer, focussed on detached and flatted new build housing developments across central Scotland, They are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in flatted developments to join their office-based team in South Glasgow. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs and resources required for residential detached and flatted development projects.

Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for flatted development projects.
- Analysing project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates.
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and construction managers to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates.
- Evaluating and negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitoring project costs and progress to ensure projects remain within budget.
- Providing regular updates and reports to senior management.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Estimator, specifically in flatted developments.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
