Reed Accountancy is working with a globally known and respected organisation, in their search for a Finance Analyst to join the team. The main scope of the role is to assist the Financial Accounting Manager in ensuring that key deliverables are achieved, including the completion of month and year-end procedures and assisting with maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Posting daily cashbooks
  • Preparing and posting month end journals including accruals and prepayments, FX, recharges and adjustment journals
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register
  • Posting payroll journals
  • Involved in the preparation and reporting of VAT and other returns
  • Assisting with month-end reviews
  • Distributing financial reports
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and reporting on variances
  • Assisting with audits
  • Ad hoc duties as required

This role will suit someone with experience in a Finance Assistant or Accounts Assistant capacity, who is looking to take the next step towards management accounts. You don't need to have all the experience listed above, but if you work in a high-volume environment with experience of reconciliations and making corrective actions then please do apply. You will need to be a confident communicator, comfortable liaising with stakeholders across the business, and be able to work independently to meet deadlines and KPIs.
