Finance ManagerMorgan Hunt is working with a leading housing association that is committed to providing quality, affordable housing and supporting the communities they serve. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to join their finance team.Role PurposeThe Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in the financial management and strategic direction of the organisation. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the delivery of organisational goals.Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies and policies that align with the organisation's strategic objectives.
  • Prepare and analyse financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage financial risk and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Oversee financial systems and processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective financial decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in a senior finance role within a housing association, charity or similar organisation would be very advantageous.
  • A professional accountancy qualification for example, ICAS, ACCA, CIPFA, or CIMA would be a distinct advantage)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems. Previous experience of working with HomeMaster Finance Software and/or Sage payroll would be highly advantageous
  • A commitment to providing high-quality service and supporting the organisation's mission.
