Your new company

Hays are delighted to be partnered with a housing association based in Paisley. They are looking for a finance manager to join their team. This permanent role is varied and busy and the organisation are looking for a qualified accountant to join the busy team. The hours of work will be Monday - Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Your new role

You will be reporting to the finance director undertaking a range of duties. These include; managing the organisation's finances, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements, delivering financial services effectively, developing and adhering to financial policies and monitoring performance. You will also lead, manage and train the finance team, ensuring compliance with statutory accounting requirements. You will also produce management accountants and ensure year-end accounts are completed to a high standard. You will work with the SLT to prepare the annual budget and supervise the workload of the finance team.What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a fully qualified or qualified by experience accountant. Furthermore, you will possess strong communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate with others in a team. Additionally, you will need to be highly organised and have excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritise effectively.
