Our client in Glasgow is looking for a qualified Finance Manager with CIMA, ACCA, or ACA certification and line management experience for a permanent position.
The salary for this role is approximately £60,000, depending on skills and experience, along with additional benefits.
Key responsibilities include leading the project accounting team, overseeing budget reporting, and managing stakeholder relationships.
Candidates should possess strong commercial acumen and the ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels, with previous line management experience being desirable.
Experience in long-term contracting within the defense sector and familiarity with systems like SAP are also advantageous.

Our client based in Glasgow (hybrid working available) are seeking a qualified Finance Manager (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with line management experience to join them in a permanent position. Based on relevant skills and experience the salary is circa £60k + benefits.

Job Roles

Lead the project accounting team
Oversee the budget reporting process
Stakeholder management to deliver quality project financial information for internal and customer budgetary processes.
Submitting Single Source Regulations Office submissions
Managing the relationship with the support customer team
Adhering to the relevant Finance Policies and Financial Controls
Providing support to the Finance Business Partner

Skills and experiences needed:

Essential:

Fully qualified accountant, ACCA, CIMA, or ACA
High level of commercial/business acumen
Ability influence, challenge, and engage stakeholder at various levels

Desirable:

Previous line management experience
Long-term contracting experience within defence or a similar comparable industry
Prior use of systems such as SAP or similar
