Our client based in Glasgow (hybrid working available) are seeking a qualified Finance Manager (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with line management experience to join them in a permanent position. Based on relevant skills and experience the salary is circa £60k + benefits.

Job Roles

  • Lead the project accounting team
  • Oversee the budget reporting process
  • Stakeholder management to deliver quality project financial information for internal and customer budgetary processes.
  • Submitting Single Source Regulations Office submissions
  • Managing the relationship with the support customer team
  • Adhering to the relevant Finance Policies and Financial Controls
  • Providing support to the Finance Business Partner

Skills and experiences needed:

Essential:

  • Fully qualified accountant, ACCA, CIMA, or ACA
  • High level of commercial/business acumen
  • Ability influence, challenge, and engage stakeholder at various levels

Desirable:

  • Previous line management experience
  • Long-term contracting experience within defence or a similar comparable industry
  • Prior use of systems such as SAP or similar
