As the Financial Reporting Manager, you will take ownership of the statutory reporting for the UK Group Companies. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting and ensuring compliance. This is a critical role within the finance team, offering the opportunity to lead and develop processes within a global business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and submission of statutory accounts for UK Group Companies.
- Review the work of the financial reporting team to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage the reporting timetable to meet internal and external deadlines.
- Provide technical accounting guidance and support to the team and stakeholders.
- Liaise with external auditors to facilitate year-end audits.
- Continuously improve financial reporting processes and controls.
- Work closely with finance and non-finance colleagues to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Candidate Requirements:
- CA / ACCA Qualified
- Previous experience within a practice environment, followed by industry experience (ideally in a global business).
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Proven experience in statutory reporting and managing a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ambitious and driven, with a desire to develop and progress within a global organisation.
