We are partnered with a reputable global consultancy that are looking for a Senior ITAM Analyst to work on a very exciting LONG-TERM CONTRACT in the FINANCIAL SERVICE sector.


Role: ServiceNow ITAM Senior Analyst

Rate: Up to £500 per day (inside IR35)

Location: Glasgow, UK

Style: Hybrid

Duration: 6 months (initially view to extend)


The Role:

Customers ITAM Data Quality Operations function is to facilitate and drive improvements to completeness and accuracy of IT asset data in the Firm's Configuration Management System (ServiceNow AMDB / CMDB), Technology Asset Inventory System Catalogue (TAISC) and Technology Asset Inventory Data Warehouse (TAIDW) encompassing all Firm affiliates and newly acquired entities.


REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow, SharePoint, PowerBI and JIRA for tracking and reporting on team activities.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Strong Client (Internal) Management & Stakeholder Management Skills
  • Strong Data Analytical skills with ability to digest requirements, share feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to set and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to details with ability to identify data trends and patterns.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability; should be able to act independently.
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-region distributed team.
  • Individual must be able to multi-task effectively.
  • Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving accuracy of the asset lifecycle stage in the Configuration Management System
  • Drive accuracy / completeness of attributes required to support ITAM processes and controls.
  • Driving improvement to 'evidenced' and 'accuracy' scores supported by Technology Asset Inventory reconciliation engine including identifying discrepancies in source data and driving remediation activity.
  • Maintaining the mapping reported asset lifecycle stage in the Configuration Management System to the lifecycle stages defined in the ITAM Standard.
  • Management of the scope asset attributes required for ITAM with directional maturity toward class-based required attributes.
  • Identification of authorized assets
  • Creating / maintaining register of IT asset inventory data quality issues.
  • Reporting / observability of IT asset data quality.
  • Develop / execute / oversee data validation processes where required.
  • Accountable for reporting availability of priorities attributes in both AMDB, CMDB.
  • Accountable for ensuring that lifecycle attributes for assets is accurate (the prioritized level 1/ level 2 attributes)
  • Support compliance and audit requirements


Key Skills:

  • Bachelors degree.
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • ITIL4 Foundations
  • ITAM/Configuration Management
  • Problem Management: Kepner-Tregoe method or 5 whys method
  • JIRA Project Management
