Key Responsibilities:

Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the freight industry to expand our client baseClient Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfactionSales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targetsMarket Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapeProposal Preparation: Prepare and present compelling proposals and quotations to prospective clientsNetworking: Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote our services and generate leadsCustomer Service: Handle incoming calls and emails, providing first-class logistics serviceLogistics Coordination: Plan and organise effective freight routes and transportation solutionsTracking & Reporting: Monitor freight movement using bespoke software and keep clients updatedTraining: Educate clients on the use of our internal and external software solutions

Essential Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in business development within the freight or logistics industryStrong understanding of freight operations and logistics solutionsExcellent sales and negotiation skillsAbility to build and maintain client relationshipsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesExcellent multi-tasking and prioritisation skillsAttention to detail and organisational efficiencyFriendly, enthusiastic, and a team playerExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to remain calm under pressureSelf-motivated with a proactive approachProficiency in Microsoft Office 365
