This is a great role for someone with extensive micro experience within GMP environments and is looking for a new challenge and to further develop their skills.

The Role:

  • Overseeing all microbiological activity on site
  • Management of the microbiology team
  • Management of the microbiology testing schedule and ensuring compliance with GMP and pharmacopoeia guidelines
  • Running microbiology testing where required
  • Lead investigations and implementation of CAPAs and overseeing QMS
  • Act as SME for external audits and inspections
  • Responsibility for equipment and method qualification and validation
  • Provides microbiology awareness training across the site
  • Manage QPulse development and upkeep for all microbiological activities
  • Support Supplier Quality with audits of external suppliers and facilities
  • Prepare trending reports
  • Act as a lead on compliance protocols

Requirements:

  • BSc in Microbiology or other relevant degree
  • Extensive experience in a similar senior microbiology role
  • Demonstrable knowledge of GMP and pharmacopoeia guidelines
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise workloads
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
