The Role:
- Line management of microbiologist and responsible overseeing subcontract laboratories providing timely and efficient testing services.
- Hosting external and internal audits.
- Responsible for equipment and method validation.
- Ensure microbiology laboratories are maintained to comply to UK, EU regulatory requirements (GMP, ISO13485).
- To support in the laboratory when it comes to environmental monitoring and sampling and testing of water.
Your Background:
- Degree qualified in Microbiology or equivalent with industry experience (4yrs+).
- Previously worked in a GMP/ GLP compliant environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry (4yrs+).
- Extensive scientific knowledge within the microbiology function.
- Experienced in translating regulatory legislation into workable document.
