Project Manager - PMO Consultant - 12 month contract - GlasgowI am working with a well known Financial Services organisation looking for an experienced Project / PMO Consultant to join their team.You will be working as part of a cross functional team supporting complex Technology programmes to support Regulatory change delivery (Brexit, MiFID, LIBOR etc).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
- Engage and manage stakeholders effectively, building strong relationships across various levels.
- Implement Agile and Kanban methodologies, leveraging tools like Jira for project tracking and reporting.
- Analyse large data sets, using advanced Excel, Power BI, and Power Query to automate reporting processes.
- Set up and maintain a SharePoint sites for effective project documentation and collaboration.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes and practices.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Project Management and PMO roles, particularly in large, complex programmes within Financial Services.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience with Kanban and Jira.
- Ability to work with large data sets; advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, and Power Query preferred.
- Previous experience setting up and managing SharePoint sites.
