About our client:

Our client is at the forefront of driving renewable energy projects. They are currently looking for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor with previous experience working on renewable projects who are seeking their next career challenge to join their team and contribute to the exciting and evolving landscape of renewable energy.

As part of your responsibilities, you’ll be required to:

  • Promote a strong health, safety, environment and quality ethos across the leadership teams.
  • Demonstrate leadership and actively encourage compliance with HSE requirements.
  • Provide accurate data and reports to the wider business on legislative issues as well as “best practice” policy
  • Ensure staff adhere to company procedures and assist this by providing the require resources to all team members. This will include implementing company wider communications, training, evaluations and competency based assessments.
  • Assist the sales team with HSE information for tenders and quotations.
  • Set up the HSE management system, set up plans and ensure that HSE procedures are maintained at all times.
  • Carry out investigations as and when required, ensuring timely and accurate reports are provided
  • Deliver training on feedback and knowledge gained from previous and future projects.

To be considered for this opportunity, you should an excellent communicator who is able to demonstrate:

  • A working background in a civil engineering environment within the energy sector.
  • 2-4 years experience working in a health & safety manager role.
  • NEBOSH Safety.
  • NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate.
  • ISO 14001 Lead Auditor / OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor.
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation and OHSAS 18001.
  • Knowledge of environmental legislation and ISO 14001.
  • Ability to deliver change in all HSE procedures.
  • Champion of health & safety standards in all aspects of your work.
  • Forward thinking attitude to H&S culture.
