Helpdesk Service AdvisorGlasgow£23,756A leading UK wide company with corporate operations close to Glasgow has an opportunity for a Helpdesk Service Advisor to join their team.The role will be strongly focused on customer service and both proactive and reactive scheduling of service visits to customers. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for customers calling into the Helpdesk by phone, and who book jobs in via their online portal system. The main working hours for this role will be on a shift pattern between 8am starts, 8pm finishes, and you will work one weekend out of four, on a 35.5 hour working week.  The culture is busy, fun, and team orientated, and this role will suit those with excellent customer service skills, good PC skills, and the ability to work well with others.Responsibilities will include:
  • Being main point of contact for customers, managing their queries and prompting job updates
  • Booking & closing off jobs for engineers
  • Raising of reactive & scheduled work orders
  • Managing complaints and escalations effectively
  • Keep WIP levels appropriate to ensure timely completion of work orders
  • Assist with reporting on jobs logged, completed and outstanding
  • Provide general administrative support
