We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Operations Support Apprentice to join our family-run business, based in Hillington Park, Glasgow. Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional service, and we’re seeking someone who shares our proactive and organised approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate job scheduling: Manage job assignments and bookings using our digital systems (Tradify, Microsoft Teams) for the boiler team
  • Client communication: Be the main point of contact for clients—handling phone and email inquiries, confirming appointments, and providing updates
  • Keep our records in top shape by logging job details, estimates, quotes, and invoices in Tradify and Xero
  • Quote and invoice handling: Use Xero to generate and send quotes and invoices, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain timesheets and help with scheduling to keep the team running smoothly
  • Assess and rate the likelihood of new business opportunities on a scale from 1-5 using the Monday software (once implemented)

Required skills:

  • Organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills, with a friendly and professional telephone manner
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams)
  • A proactive attitude, able to work independently and manage your time effectively whilst working autonomously

Salary:

£16,000 per annum

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
