A Platform/Linux Engineer is needed for a fully remote position with a leading financial services organization.
The role requires supporting and maintaining the Linux server estate, along with managing the Operational Platform.
Candidates should have experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and skills in Ansible, IaaC, and Linux systems administration.
The position is open to those with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

RedHat Linux, Platform Engineer required to work with a leading financial services organisation.

Please note:Services can be provided on a fully remote basis.Engagement is via umbrella company only.

You will join a team responsible for supporting, maintaining, and innovating our clients platforms and technologies. The core element of your role will be to support the management of the Operational Platform, with a particular focus on the Linux Server Estate.

General responsibilities: -

Supporting and maintaining a Linux server estate for Operational Platform
Supporting ongoing projects and implementing new infrastructure into datacentres
Root cause analysis and remediation of issues
Work closely with depts. to estimate work, manage domain scope, risks and issues etc.

Skills required: -

Linux systems admin skills
Experience of Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Satellite (install, Configure, manage)
Server implementations, upgrades, maintenance, monitoring and automations etc.
IaaC (Infrastructure as Code)
Ansible
AAP
