- Senior Systems Administrator- Glasgow (Hybrid)- Salary to £65,000 & Benefits Package- ASAP StartFantastic new opportunity to the market to join our Glasgow-based Fintech client, specialising in managed Cloud provision. The business is now recruiting for a seasoned Senior Systems Administrator, as they continue to grow their tech team from their newly opened, state-of-the-art tech hub in Glasgow.This is a key hire, joining the fast-paced SysAdmin team, with responsibility for maintaining the server estate (Linux and Windows) and network; ensuring and maximising performance. You will be proactive in nature and embrace the automation-first approach of the team, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.Key Experience (A blend of):

  • Breadth of Systems Administration experience
  • Extensive Linux and Windows administration experience
  • Strong Scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
  • Extensive network expertise
  • Automation knowledge / expertise is desirable - Ansible or similar
  • DevOps/Cloud knowledge / Exposure to CI/CD tooling desirable, but not essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Candidates will be considered from a range of backgrounds and will have a blend of the above, but must be proactive, driven and enthusiastic to cope with the fast-paced nature of the role.
