Adecco are working with an educational establishment in the city of Glasgow who are looking for Student Experience Helpdesk Officers to start immediately.

You will act as the primary face-to-face first point of contact for the students on campus whether existing or new. This will suit someone with a strong customer service background. Experience in the Higher Education sector would be an advantage.

Main Duties include:

  • Working as the primary point of contact for student enquiries, providing a warm and friendly welcome whether in person, by telephone or by email
  • Providing advice on standard and routine issues encountered by the Student Experience Officers, escalating more complex issues as needed to ensure consistent service quality
  • Providing initial advice on common queries such as registration checks, issuing student cards or how to register with a doctor or open a bank account
  • Undertaking other duties as appropriate to the grade and content of the post as directed by the Head of Student Support and Development

About you:

  • Relevant experience or a qualification to HNC level with general administrative or other relevant experience
  • Strong IT skills including MS Office
  • Experience of working in a customer service, reception or client facing role
  • Strong customer care skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent strong organisation and communication skills
