Role Overview:
Seeking an Engineering Team Lead to oversee design solutions across the full engineering lifecycle. This role involves leading a team, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage an engineering team, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Provide technical leadership across product development and approvals.
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure adherence to standards.
- Oversee engineering deliverables, resource planning, and performance reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to define technical specifications.
- Manage team performance, recruitment, and development.
- Drive best practices, resource sharing, and continuous improvements.
- Ensure system safety, risk management, and compliance.
Candidate Profile:
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Attention to detail with a proactive, adaptable approach.
- Experience engaging with customers, suppliers, and contractors.
- Ability to mentor and develop team members.
Requirements:
- Degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- Chartered Engineer status (desirable).
- Experience in product design, integration, and lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of engineering principles and industry standards.
- Leadership experience in multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with ISO and marine/defense regulations.
