  • Candidates must also possess a recognized SHEQ qualification and a clean driving license.

Our client has an opportunity for a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. You will help to drive the delivery of the flying activities alongside your colleagues by taking a 'Whole Force' approach to our activities and ensuring that the company's excellent safety and delivery reputation is always maintained.

Role: Licensed Aircraft Engineer
Location: Glasgow Airport
Hours: Full time / Permanent
Security Clearance: Must be able to achieve SC clearance

Responsibilities:
Day-to-day, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Coordinating all CAA part 145 paperwork
  • H&S of all equipment and reporting of any faults and diagnostic problems.
  • Providing a CRS signature when appropriate to release an aircraft to service after either defect rectification or scheduled maintenance.

Essential Requirements:

  • Aircraft inspections, repair and maintenance
  • Sound understanding of partnering and alliance between customer and contract.
  • Line support tasks
  • Type Rating on Grob 115E aircraft and Lycoming 360 engines.
  • Have previously worked in a pt.145 environment.
  • Experience in the aircraft maintenance industry.

Qualifications Required:

  • Recognised SHEQ Qualification
  • Working knowledge of safety management systems (SMS).
  • EASA/CAA Part 66, B1.2 license.
  • Clean driving licence.
