Job Opportunity: Associate/Senior Associate – Corporate & Commercial

Location: Glasgow

Overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced associate or senior associate to join a highly regarded Corporate team. This is a chance to work on a variety of high-profile corporate and commercial matters, including M&A, private equity deals and complex investment transactions, for a diverse client base ranging from UK startups to international enterprises. You will play a pivotal role in delivering top-tier advice, project-managing deals and contributing to the team’s ongoing growth and success.

Experience

  • 5+ years PQE in corporate and commercial law
  • Strong background in M&A, private equity, investments and corporate governance
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex, high-value transactions with professionalism and precision

Responsibilities

  • Advise on a variety of corporate matters, including mergers, acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures and corporate reorganisations
  • Draft and negotiate shareholder agreements, investment agreements and commercial contracts
  • Provide corporate governance advice, including directors' duties, conflict of interest and shareholder relations
  • Lead client relationships with a proactive and commercial approach to legal issues
  • Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines such as tax, real estate, banking and employment to deliver comprehensive client solutions
  • Participate in and contribute to the team’s business development initiatives
