They offer a wide range of services, including modifications, overhauls and maintenance programmes to ensure the stock is safe, reliable and comfortable.You will be responsible for:* Identifying and implementing safe, cost-effective countermeasures to product issues, including but not limited to safety, reliability and passenger comfort issues.* Leading teams on technical maintenance and modification campaigns, ensuring on-time delivery in a safe and cost-effective manner.* Developing and building the companies technical engineering function.* Planning, scheduling and delivering on BOM's, work instructions and electronic data recording form for planned maintenance activities* Maintaining maintenance records of all activities related to specific projects ensuring they meet the requirements of the company and industry standards.* Taking the lead on engineering change implementation to improve fleet and system performance and overall costs of maintenance* Spearheading incident management activitiesGeneral requirements:* HNC or above in some form of Engineering discipline* Extensive experience in rolling stock maintenance or asset management activities* Experience in project planning, governance and execution* Strong engineering knowledge of traction rolling stock systems and maintenance legislation and regulations* Knowledge of standard rail industry legislation and standards* Strong understanding and awareness of health and safety* Computer literate including all Microsoft packagesContact InformationEmail: Due to the volume of applications, we can only commit to contact those candidates we deem suitable for the position.
