Our client Scottish Power are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join their team in Glasgow (hybrid minimum 2 days per week at the office).

It is an inside IR35 contract role approved for 6 months (likely to be extended to 9 months) paying competitive rates.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager who will have a proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns, driving brand awareness, and achieving business objectives. This role requires a creative thinker with strong influencing & communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

A key priority for the Senior Marketing Manager will be to maximise the visibility and relevance of Scottish Power products & services, increasing the volume of leads and sales across Domestic Gas and Electricity, Smart Solutions & Home Services products. An integrated approach is required to drive traffic and the optimal source of that traffic to the Scottish Power website with a focus on traffic quality and ease of customer journeys to facilitate conversions and sales.

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve business goals.
• Develop and deliver the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social media, etc.).
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
• Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales objectives.
• Responsibility for budget management with a keen eye on maximising ROI.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimize performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

The Senior Marketing Manager reports to the Senior Lead – G&E Marketing and has responsibility for driving and delivering marketing strategies to acquire new domestic energy customers.to grow the overall ScottishPower portfolio. The post holder will be required to manage a mix of stakeholders across ScottishPower.

Within the dimensions of this role, the post holder will be responsible for:
• Driving increased traffic and sales across all energy products
• Supporting the delivery of traffic and conversion strategies aimed at increasing cost effective product conversions and sales volumes ensuring value
• Manage pipeline and funnel reporting with an ability to highlight opportunities to improve conversions
• Identify opportunities and deliver propositions to support sales growth and maximise performance

• Graduate or equivalent, ideally in a Marketing or Business-focussed discipline
• At least 7 years Acquisition Marketing experience
• Online acquisition marketing experience with a proven ability to drive sales volumes whilst maintaining high quality levels
• Ability to launch and monitor new initiatives with track record in test and learn strategies to taking projects from trial to enduring solutions, seeking continuous improvement
• Results focused with strong planning and excellent analytical / data analysis skills
• Confident, with a proven track record of communicating, presenting, and influencing at a senior level both internally and externally
• Proven experience in digital marketing with experience of delivering high-performing acquisition campaigns including growth via affiliate or partner platforms
• Proficient in utilising tools such as Google Analytics, or other relevant platforms.
• Good understanding of PPC & SEO best practices and experience with content optimisation and recommendations
• Familiarity with email marketing tools and best practices
