Our client is receiving applications for a dynamic and driven Water Treatment Business Development Manager to further grow their presence within the Central Belt of Scotland. The company is a specialist within Water Treatment, and offer a wide variety of services to their busy portfolio of clients. You will be actively seeking and pursuing new clients, ensuring to sell and deliver excellent services, so applicants must be self-motivated and proactive in their approach. You can expect fantastic salaries and benefits, including a company vehicle, bonuses and commission schemes.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Will have a successful history working as a Water Treatment Business Development Manager within a reputable outfit
- Conversant in industry guidelines, including: ACOP L8 and HSG 274
- Ideally will have hands-on water treatment experience to support knowledge
- Experienced in entering into negotiations and discussing contractual matters with new and existing clients
- Practised in a range of sales techniques
- Strong written ability
- Excellent IT literacy level

The Role:
- You will be actively seeking new business opportunities in order to grow a Water Treatment portfolio of clients
- Researching new business leads and actively trying to recruit new clients
- Using various techniques, such as: cold-calling, upselling and tendering for works
- Producing quotations for works ensuring to be competitive and comprehensive
- Working with the operations team to ensure projects run to agreed timescales and budgets
- Collating details to create attractive bids / tenders for clients
- Building excellent relationships with clients
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, for any technical or logistical issues / queries
- Keeping directors updated with personal and team sales performance
